Outlander PHEV now offered as a commercial

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is now available to order as a commercial vehicle. Based on the Mitsubishi PHEV Juro 4WD SUV, the commercial version is fitted with a full bulkhead and offers a maximum payload of half a tonne.

An electric motor on each axle means that even in EV mode, the Outlander PHEV Commercial remains a 4WD, with a button allowing the driver to select between normal, snow and lock modes.

Standard features include 18” alloy wheels, a heated windscreen and seats, heater and air-con scheduler function, reversing camera, electronic parking brake and touchscreen audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Driven by a 135hp 2.4-litre “Atkinson” cycle petrol engine and EV powertrain, Mitsubishi claims a fuel economy combined cycle figure of 139mpg, a WLTP EV range of 28 miles and CO2 emissions of 46g/km.

As an ultra-low emission vehicle, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Commercial is eligible for the UK government’s Plug-In Van Grant.
