NV200 wins Van of the Year
Nissan’s NV200 small van has been awarded the International Van of the Year 2009 prize. The company has also announced prices for the NV200 in the UK, starting at £12,090 plus the VAT, or £10,090 if you can take advantage of the scrappage scheme.There will initially be a choice of two models, an entry level E specification and a higher SE level. The E models will come with a CD audio system with MP3 Aux input and keyless entry. The higher grade SE, which starts at £12,590 plus VAT, gets electric windows and a full steel bulkhead.
A Combi version, with the option of seven seats, will join the line-up in 2010 with prices to be announced nearer to the launch in February.
There are a number of option packs available for the SE model, including air conditioning for £575, glazed rear doors at £150 and a safety pack which includes air con for £1,000.
