Swedish company Brodit is expanding its range of secure mobile device mounting systems, increasing safety and ease of use within cars, vans and trucks for drivers. The company, founded in 1983, designs and manufactures a wide variety of in-vehicle device cradles and mounts, exporting to 30 countries around the world.

Bespoke mounts are available for Apple, Samsung, Honeywell, Panasonic and Zebra devices. The cradles are manufactured in high-quality ABS/Acetal material, for maximum durability and reliability. Used by many fleets across the UK, including taxis, emergency services and couriers, the mounts can be supplied for cars, vans, trucks, forklifts and other machinery types.

Using a cradle mount correctly ensures that companies are not obscuring visibility from the front windscreen, which must be kept clear of obstructions. Brodit offers ProClip mounts that don’t risk obscuring the line of sight for the driver. Using a two-part solution, the ProClip mount and Brodit Holder are specific to your vehicle and phone type, respectively.

There are charging options and some models also provide locking if required.

Each cradle is equipped with a tilt-swivel mount, allowing the operator to set the device for the best view and without glare from sunshine or other road user lighting. Brodit cradles and mounts minimise risk, whilst increasing safety, productivity and allow the integration of mobile technology into the driver’s daily workflow, safely and securely.
