Jiffy celebrates 200 Banquet conversions

Jiffy Trucks has supplied its 200th Isuzu Grafter Jiffy Banquet truck. The vehicle was purchased by long-standing Bolton-based customer Greenhalgh’s Craft Bakery, as part of a three-vehicle order. The Isuzu Grafters are equipped with an Eberspacher-powered keeping oven, a deep soup urn and a GAH-powered refrigeration system, for the display and sale of hot and cold foods. Two of the vehicles have also been equipped with a Rijo 42 bean-to-cup coffee machine, to provide coffee and hot chocolate.

The three Grafters join an eight-strong outdoor catering truck fleet working around Bolton, Wigan, Blackburn and Chorley. Although a long-time Jiffy customer, these are the first Isuzus to join the fleet.

“Not only does the stylish, head-turning appearance of the trucks create a favourable impression when they arrive on location, but the wider range of products being displayed has also led to a significant increase in business levels on each route.”
