Temperature-controlled van provider CoolKit is making life easier for customers with the launch of a CoolSelecta configurator. This allows fleet buyers to visualise their van conversion on screen, helping them to choose van make and model and to decide the internal layout that will work best for their operation.

The online configurator provides a three-dimensional rendering of the vehicle that can be digitally altered to find the perfect combination of equipment and components. Customers can see views of both the inside and the external view of the van, which can be seen in a range of colours. All popular makes and models are available.

When the customer is satisfied with the configuration of the vehicle conversion, they submit the design to CoolKit and the company can quote for the work.

“We have found that it is very easy for confusion to arise when attempting to specify transport refrigeration equipment, so we developed CoolSelecta, a fantastic app on our website that will give customers a full understanding of the choices available, which we think will greatly help to optimise fleet productivity,” said Cameron Javed, CoolKit’s head of technical sales.

“Several pre-set options will help further simplify and facilitate faster turnaround by standardisation. A range of popular options is available to choose from, including mid-bulkheads, safety steps and PVC strips. Other equipment can be tailored to individual requirements, including shelving, racking and load restraining systems.”

The CoolSelecta system is suitable for vehicle dealers, brokers and end users, allowing all parties to visualise the finished vehicle and agree the specification and appearance prior to build.

“We enjoy seeing our vans on every high street and we hope that the CoolSelecta will help to facilitate this by guiding our customers to make the right choice,” said Javed.
